With many thanks to Jim Hatter for permitting us to use his photograph - April 2008

INVERURIE CHORAL SOCIETY was founded in 1998 and is looking to welcome additional singers, young and ‘not so young.’  The choir sings a variety of music, classical to modern, for two public concerts a year, and enjoys social events too.  Reading music is an advantage but not essential, and there are no auditions.  ICS is also keen to start an Inverurie Young Singers’ Group for ages 10 years+/Primary 6 upwards, as well as welcoming new members for our regular choir.  Practices for the regular choir are on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm in Inverurie West Church Hall.  Inverurie Young Singers’ practices will be held in the hall at an earlier time on Wednesday evenings.

INVERURIE CHORAL SOCIETY is supported by the National Federation of Music Societies with funds from the Scottish Arts Council, and has received generous help from Aberdeenshire Council and Gordon Forum for the Arts in setting up its activities.

You can also find us on www.gerontius.net" and www.choirs.org.uk . Check out their website for choral information
